DONNA HAY CAKE

Friday night in..still raining and so humid !...I decided to try a new cake recipe by Donna Hay. Its an  Apple & Cinnamon Tea Cake . Very yum and hardly anything left hehe.

WAIHEKE DREAM ♥

Its 12pm and im still in bed ! Its absolutely terrible weather out there ! Windy and rainy...alot of it,  and at least for another 3 days ! Its suppose to be sunny at this time of the year :-(  going to the beach, having picnics, bbqs. Well...im day dreaming of Waiheke Island today..l o v e that place..just going thru some photos from earlier this year..

On the ferry over to Waiheke Island which takes 40 min. Auckland City in the background.

 Mudbrick Vineyard  is my absolute favourite place to sit down towards sunset with some wine and nibbles. Absolutely amazing views...and on a clear day you can see Auckland .

 So cosy at night when they lit the fireplace...

FRANKLIN ROAD

Every year the Xmas lights on Franklin Road lights up. It has become very popular in the past few years and many families take their little ones for an evening stroll. So did we the evening before Xmas Eve.
But this is as crazy as its gonna get here in Auckland for Christmas lights :)
