I grew up in Wellington, but my Mum's family is from Gisborne, so we spent every summer at Wainui Beach. It's such a beautiful beach. They have done such a great job with this house, it's gorgeous. The soft duck egg blues and white make it beachy, yet classy, love the Florence Broadhurst wallpaper in the dining room. I wish you'd put a link to the home - would love to stay there, if they hire it out. x

Port Arthur is one of the most fascinating historical places in Australia which has embraced its convict history and is now a tourist destination. Take a tour through the old jail while you are there.
